I’m David Small, a senior creative obsessed with solving problems and crafting imagery that’s equally beautiful and meaningful. Since 2016, I’ve focused on art direction and visual storytelling, primarily in the lifestyle and sportswear space. For five years, I led brand design studios in Amsterdam for Nike EMEA. Prior to that I was an editor, writer, photographer and designer for skateboarding, surf and punk magazines, as well as alt-weeklies in Southern California. I’m currently freelancing from Portland, Oregon.
