I’m David Small, a senior creative with 20 years experience obsessed with crafting imagery that’s equally beautiful and meaningful. Since 2016, I’ve focused on art direction, photography and visual storytelling, primarily in the lifestyle and sportswear space. For six years, I led brand design studios in Amsterdam for Nike, and prior to that I worked as an editor, writer, photographer and designer for skate, surf and music magazines and alt-weeklies in Southern California. I’m currently freelancing from Portland, Oregon.
